New York State Department of Parks

 - Power Quality Analyzing

With the ever growing issues of "dirty power",  many electricians may not know, troubleshooting and power quality analysis requires an analytic mind together with precision test equipment to achieve the desired results.   NYS Dept. of Parks was seeing erratic functionality of their heating system.  Three electricians and a plumber later, they made the call to Hitchcock & Company. Utilizing state of the art test equipment with graphing report technology, we at Hitchcock & Company used quantifiable data to determine the cause of the heating system malfunction.

While most electricians "throw parts" at the problem until the issues is resolved, we use the wrinkles in our brain to solve the issue.  Turned out, the culprit of the electrical issues was a $40 capacitor in need of replacement.

Red Hook Auto Supply

- Efficient Lighting Systems

When the owner of Red Hook Auto Supply (also known as CarQuest) called Hitchcock & Company to provide an estimate to install a new service entrance and efficient lighting system for the new storage building, we were extremely happy to hear from him!   We supplied RHAS with a profesionally composed, typewritten estimate INSTANTLY, on site!  He was so impressed, he scheduled the project immediately!

Since completing the project in the new building with astonishing results,  we've been contracted to replace all of the existing lighting in the older section of the building. Stay tuned for updates as we progress!  Pictures to follow!

PROJECTS

The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck.

- Flood Damage Controls Rebuild

We build lifelong relationships.  When The CENTER for Performing Arts at Rhinebeck had major flood damage from Hurricane Irene, they needed help ASAP to get the doors back open to bring in revenue for the rebuild!  Unfortunately the sprinkler pump system had suffered severe water damage.  Turns out, pump controls are not good swimmers.

The CENTER knew who to call for help; their longtime electrician, Hitchcock & Company.  We were on the scene within an hour of their call to get them back on their feet and able to open the doors again.  Wiring pump controls, replacing damaged breakers and generator components, The CENTER was back on  track in no time.

Generators Galore!

If we were to list all of the generators we've installed in the past 6 months, we would need to seek some serious publishing companies to print the story.   Here's an example of some of our neatly installed work in a 200amp NEMA 3R automatic transfer switch we installed in Clinton Corners, New York.   As you can see here, this is not a project for the faint of heart or inexperienced electrician.   When installed properly, it should look entirely planned as if it were wired at the factory.

Maybe it's time to ask yourself, "Why haven't I called Hitchcock & Company?"
